TIPS & TRICKS

Quick Add Transactions Pull down on the home screen or tap the amount to quickly add a new transaction.

Customize your Home display Long press on the amount to customize what's shown (left to spend, total spent, balance, or budget %), greeting style, privacy options, and blend effects.

Search in Control Hub Open the Control Hub to search your transactions, categories, settings, and more using the search bar at the top.

Swipe to Hide Amount Swipe horizontally on the main amount to quickly hide it for privacy. Swipe again to reveal.

GETTING STARTED

Q: What are the first steps to get started? A: Start by opening the Control Hub and setting your main currency under General. Then set a monthly budget by tapping the Budget card. Finally, add your first transaction by pulling down on the home screen or tapping the amount.

Q: How do I navigate the app? A: The app has two main areas: Home (your financial overview and transactions) and Control Hub (features, settings, and tools). Pull down on the home screen or tap the amount to add transactions. Access Trends, Travel, Budget settings, and more from the Control Hub.

Q: What's the fastest way to add transactions? A: Pull down on the home screen or tap the amount, type using the calculator, and tap a category. That's it! The transaction is saved instantly. You can also tap from any widget on your home screen.

Q: How do I switch between the two home views? A: The home screen has two sides: a calm view showing days remaining in your budget period, and a detailed view with widgets and transactions. Swipe left or right on the top card, or tap it to flip between them.

Q: What does the balance amount show? A: The large number at the top shows your remaining budget for the current period. If you haven't set a budget, it shows your total expenses. When over budget, it turns red and shows how much you've exceeded.

Q: What are the small tiles below the balance? A: These are insight chips showing quick stats like today's spending, daily allowance, top category, and more. Tap any chip to see more details. The insights adapt to your spending patterns.

Q: Can I customize which insights are shown? A: Yes! Long press any insight tile to open the customization sheet. You can reorder insights by dragging, toggle them on or off (minimum 2 required), and choose how icons are colored.

Q: How do I search the app? A: Open the Control Hub to access the search bar. You can search for transactions, categories, settings, and more. It's a universal search that helps you quickly find anything in the app.

Q: How do I access AI features? A: Open the Control Hub and use the search bar. On devices with Apple Intelligence, you'll see a sparkles icon to access Ask AI. You can also find AI Insights in the Trends section of the Control Hub.
